Rome High School student Lilia Mendez-Paiz has been selected to serve as a National FFA in the USA Reporter.
Mendez-Paiz, the historian for the Rome High FFA Chapter, was chosen to join a select group of FFA members across the country, helping to highlight and share stories about FFA.
The National FFA Organization launched the FFA in the USA Reporter Program to highlight member voices from across the country. Student reporters like Lilia share stories, photos, and videos from their chapters and communities, which are then featured on FFA.org, FFA New Horizons, and National FFA’s social media platforms.
As a national reporter, Lilia will:
Tell stories about FFA members and chapter activities.
Submit articles, photos, and videos to reach a nationwide audience.
Help showcase the impact of agricultural education and leadership development.
Gain valuable communication, journalism, and leadership experience while representing Rome High School on a national stage.
Lilia’s achievement is not only a recognition of her talent and leadership but also brings national visibility to Rome High School and the Rome FFA Chapter. Her work will help inspire FFA members across the country while strengthening our local program’s reputation for excellence.
"We are proud of Lilia’s accomplishment and look forward to seeing her contributions as she represents Rome High FFA at the national level," Rome High School's FFA Advisor Rachael Dunaway says.
